Dr. Norm Poorman is from Kerrville, TX and attended Abilene Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology; as well as, a Certificate in Missions in 1993.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998 from Baylor College of Dentistry, then a two-year Certificate in Pediatrics from the University of Texas Health Science center in Houston. He is certified in IntraOral Sedation and adheres to high standards of care in his sedation monitoring and emergency equipment. Dr. Poorman is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.


Dr. Megan Charowski grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh and then moved to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. She met her husband while studying dentistry at the Medical University of South Carolina. They moved to Abilene in August 2015 with their rescue dog, Sarge. Megan loves working on kids and providing a fun, friendly, and welcoming dental experience. Also, she enjoys cooking, trying new foods, traveling, the outdoors, and the Pittsburgh Steelers!
